Ha, funnily enough, I have its long-lost twin over here. (It’s a white decomposing pumpkin. I miss Florida sometimes because everything decomposes a lot faster there.) Too bad we can’t reunite them!
Ha, I’ll go take a pic of it tomorrow, but I don’t know how to put pics in the comments. 🙂 (watch it be gone when I go out tomorrow. I actually had two of them out there, and now I know where the other went. It’s a travelling pumpkin! *joke*)
oh no ! Those things are so gross . they destroyed all my pumpkins , squash and melons one year. I was so sad . the fiance even tried to do some different pest control techniques, aside from poison. and they still killed them.
It looks cool though

I want to see it now! I just left mines sitting there. I’ll move it eventually.

Me either! I think this is the first time I’ve seen it myself. You are welcome!

Time to play a trick on someone (remove the stem) and tell someone to clean that dirty diaper out the yard. 🤣

Yes that’s exactly what it looks like! I think if I move it, it will fall apart to mush.

I always had issues with squash beetles , those things are terrible . But it may just be the area I live in is susceptible to them .

I think we have a different form because I have seen beetles on squash when I go to the big farms.

Yes very vicious! It’s so hard to keep the bugs away even in a greenhouse.
